Half Term Holiday Surival: 6 Tips to Get You Through

Friday 16th September 2016

The kids have been back in school for a few weeks, and now they’re ready for a break. October half term arrives just in time, but with rainy, autumnal days often par for the course, you’ll need to find the perfect indoor day out for the kids to keep them happy. Fight the cabin fever, put down the iPad and head to Velocity for some sanity saving and family friendly fun.

  1. Not your average day out

Velocity trampoline parks are the ideal venue for a day out with the kids. Wall to wall state of the art trampolines, leisure games, foam pits, basketball zones, tumbling areas, dodgeball courts, a giant air bag, a trapeze and a Gladiators style duelling pit, there is so much guaranteed to keep the family entertained that you’ll need another hour to fit it all in. (please note that some activities are not available in every location)

  1. Try something new

If you or your family have never used a trampoline before, Velocity Trampoline Parks are a great introduction to the sport. We cater for all abilities, whether you can tumble and flip or just need some help finding your feet. We focus on having fun, so kick off your shoes, put on your grip socks and start bouncing with us.

  1. Get active

Fed up of seeing the kids fighting over the remote control, or staring at a tablet? Velocity is the fun way to get them moving. Stretching, leaping and laughing it’s all great news for their physical and emotional development. Plus, they’ll use up some of that surplus energy they seem to find, so you might even get some peace and quiet on the car journey home.

  1. Recharge the batteries

We get it, it’s hard work running around after a family at the best of times, but with the daily routine out of sync it’s time you had a break. At each Velocity location, spectators receive free entry. With comfortable and spacious seating areas, treat yourself to our barista style hot drinks, sit back and watch the kids let loose around the park.

After your jump session, stick around in our dining area, as all that jumping can build up an appetite. We offer a range of snacks and drinks, including fresh ice-cream and pizza, so that hungry tums are happy too once they’ve stopped bouncing.

  1. Join the Velocity community

Our customers have so much fun here, they often come back time and time again. Making new friends and meeting our jump crew, it’s all shared on our Instagram and Snapchat feeds, so that you can share the bouncing action from wherever you are. Subscribe to our YouTube channel to watch videos and customer uploads, and follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date with our special events, promotions and deals.

  1. More than ‘just jumping’

Velocity Trampoline Park Wigan is now home to our newly completed Clip ‘n’ Climb adventure arena. Clip ‘n’ Climb is an exciting and unique activity, that combines brightly coloured modular climbing walls with aerial challenges, and it’s here in the North West. Be one of the first to take on the Clip ‘n’ Climb and  you’ll be sure to come back for more.

End your summer in style and make your booking today via our website or by calling WIDNES – 0151 424 8613 or WIGAN – 01942 410 781.
