Velocity trampoline park in Wigan is celebrating the official opening of its new climbing arena, the unique Clip ‘n’ Climb feature, the first of its kind in the region.
Velocity Trampoline Park, at Wheatlea Industrial Estate, Caxton Close, opened in July 2016, providing state of art trampoline courts, foam pits and fitness classes to Wigan and the surrounding areas. Managing director Steven Cosgrove said, ‘We are delighted to bring the Clip ‘n’ Climb climbing arena to Wigan, and its proving to be a real success with all ages. It’s the perfect partner to our trampoline courts’. The Clip ‘n’ Climb brings exciting challenges such as a Vertical Drop Slide and the nerve wracking ‘Leap of Faith’, as well as colourful climbing modules including the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and a racing wall.
The Clip ‘n’ Climb offers a one hour climb for £10 with an additional £2 charge for features like the Leap of Faith and Vertical Drop Slide. Velocity offer a discounted rate of £16 for anyone wishing to enjoy both the trampolines and the climbing arena on their visit to Velocity.
Clip ‘n’ Climb party packages are available for celebrating special occasions. Climbing sessions are available to anyone over 4 years old and under 150 Kgs, dependent on strength, skill and bravery.
The £1.5 million investment Wigan based park is a staggering 46,000 sq ft making it one of the largest trampoline parks in Europe. The site houses premium trampoline facilities, alongside a trapeze, giant air bed and duel pit.
The firm employ over 160 members of staff across Cheshire and Merseyside, and the ever popular trampoline parks are complemented by Fun Town and Space World soft play centres in Liverpool.
