Yes, we advise a booking is made before your visit, this is because we can get fully booked to capacity and may have to turn you away if you don’t have a booking with us. Velocity has an occupancy capacity for every session that we cannot exceed. However, if there is available space on a session you can pay for it when you arrive.
Children must be able to walk to jump or bounce at Velocity. Children under 4 must be accompanied on the arena by at least 1 adult (18+). Children aged 12 and under must have a parent or guardian on site at all times. Toddlers who can walk, up to age 5, can attend our Velocity Toddler Sessions, which run throughout the week during school term time (see activities).
Yes, everyone has to have completed their own individual Acceptance of Terms form (sometimes known as a ‘Waiver’). If you’re under the age of 18 this must be completed by a parent or guardian. Once completed the form is valid for 6 months. It is strongly advised you complete the form on our web site before you come to Velocity. Read our Acceptance of Terms here.
Each session is 90 minutes long. (last session 90 minutes before closing).
All jumpers must purchase special Velocity grip socks, no other footwear is permitted. Velocity grip socks have been designed to increase grip on the trampolines, reducing the risk of injury especially on our wall trampolines. In addition, these Velocity grip socks are designed to reduce the chances of transferable foot infections, increase the comfort of all jumpers (from friction) and reduce the smell of bad feet! These Velocity grip socks form an important part of our risk assessment and we expect all clients to wear Velocity grip socks for their jump sessions. Our Velocity grip socks cost just £2.50 and are yours to keep and re-use. A great souvenir from your visit!
We are just off the A49 in Wheatlea Industrial estate, once on the industrial estate look out for our signposts. We’re close to Marus Bridge Sainsbury, behind the Premier Inn.
If we are busy then you will be able join only what remains of your time booked. During quieter periods we will endeavour to slot you in as close to your preferred time as possible. In order to ensure you get to enjoy the full duration of your jump session make sure you arrive at LEAST 30 minutes before your scheduled jump time.
All bookings are non-refundable. We will, however, allow where possible to change the date of a booking (subjected to availability). Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the time cannot be rescheduled.
If you have any sort of medical condition that you believe may affect your ability to safely jump / bounce on a trampoline you must consult a qualified medical practitioner before you come to Velocity.
Wear comfortable clothes such as shorts, sweats, and t-shirts. No sharp objects such as belt buckles or clothing studs are allowed on trampolines. No jewellery is permitted while jumping.
Whilst we encourage people not to wear glasses if possible, we do allow glasses to be worn on the main jumping areas. If you already own sports goggles it is suggested that you bring them with you.
Refreshments and food are available to purchase on site. Bottled water can be taken onto the platforms if it is placed in the water crates provided, this can then be consumed during the jump session. Due to food hygiene laws, food other than what is sold in our café cannot be consumed on site.
Jumpers should arrive at least 10 minutes before their session to allow enough time for children to change into their socks and complete check-in. The safety video attached to the waiver must be watched beforehand. Latecomers may not be allowed to jump, and we do not offer refunds or guarantee availability of a later session, so please arrive on time to avoid disappointment.
The weight limit for our trampolines is 17.5 st. (111Kg).
Yes, you are encouraged to observe and supervise your children and no fee applies.
