Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we advise a booking is made before your visit, this is because we can get fully booked to capacity and may have to turn you away if you don’t have a booking with us. Velocity has an occupancy capacity for every session that we cannot exceed. However, if there is available space on a session you can pay for it when you arrive.

How old do you have to be to be?

You must be 4 years or over to jump or bounce at Velocity. Children of 12 years and under must have a parent or guardian on site at all times. Toddlers of walking age and up to 5 years can attend our Velocity Toddler Sessions that run throughout the week during school term time (see activities).

Acceptance of Terms – Does everyone need to complete a form?

Yes, everyone has to have completed their own individual Acceptance of Terms form (sometimes known as a ‘Waiver’). If you’re under the age of 18 this must be completed by a parent or guardian. Once completed the form is valid for 12 months. It is strongly advised you complete the form on our web site before you come to Velocity.  Read our Acceptance of Terms here.

How long do Velocity sessions last?

Each session is one hour long and starts on the hour, every hour (last session one hour before closing). You can opt for another hour for a reduced price subject to there being space available.

Why do I need to wear Velocity jump grip socks?

All jumpers must purchase special Velocity grip socks, no other footwear is permitted. Velocity grip socks have been designed to increase grip on the trampolines, reducing the risk of injury especially on our wall trampolines. In addition, these Velocity grip socks are designed to reduce the chances of transferable foot infections, increase the comfort of all jumpers (from friction) and reduce the smell of bad feet! These Velocity grip socks form an important part of our risk assessment and we expect all clients to wear Velocity grip socks for their jump sessions. Our Velocity grip socks cost just £2.00 and are yours to keep and re-use. A great souvenir from your visit!

How do I find you?

We are just off the A49 in Wheatlea Industrial estate, once on the industrial estate look out for our signposts. We’re close to Marus Bridge Sainsbury, behind the Premier Inn.

What happens if I’m late?

If we are busy then you will be able join only what remains of your time booked. During quieter periods we will endeavour to slot you in as close to your preferred time as possible. In order to ensure you get to enjoy the full duration of your jump session make sure you arrive at LEAST 30 minutes before your scheduled jump time.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

All bookings are non-refundable. We will, however, allow where possible to change the date of a booking (subjected to availability). Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the time cannot be rescheduled.

I have a Medical Condition, can I jump bounce at Velocity?

If you have any sort of medical condition that you believe may affect your ability to safely jump / bounce on a trampoline you must consult a qualified medical practitioner before you come to Velocity.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes such as shorts, sweats, and t-shirts. No sharp objects such as belt buckles or clothing studs are allowed on trampolines. No jewellery is permitted while jumping.

Can I wear glasses?

Whilst we encourage people not to wear glasses if possible, we do allow glasses to be worn on the main jumping areas. If you already own sports goggles it is suggested that you bring them with you.

Is food available?

Refreshments and food are available to purchase on site. Bottled water can be taken onto the platforms if it is placed in the water crates provided, this can then be consumed during the jump session. Due to food hygiene laws, food other than what is sold in our cafe cannot be consumed on site. *Currently due to COVID-19 Lockdown restrictions, no food or drinks to be taken onto the arena

How long before my jump time starts do I need to arrive?

All jumpers must arrive 30 minutes before the start of their jump time, to allow enough time to check in and watch our safety briefing. Late comers will not be allowed if they miss the safety briefing. We do not offer refunds for late arrivals and cannot guarantee availability of a later jump session so please arrive on time to avoid disappointment.

Are there any weight or height limits?

The weight limit for our trampolines is 17.5 st. (111Kg).

Can I come and just watch?

Yes, you are encouraged to observe and supervise your children and no fee applies.

Can I jump if I’m pregnant?

No. We have a strict policy against anybody who is pregnant jumping at Velocity. This is to ensure the safety of both the jumper and the unborn child.
