Acceptance of Terms – Does everyone jumping need to complete a form?
Everyone jumping has to have completed their own individual Acceptance of Terms form (sometimes known as a ‘Waiver’). If you’re under the age of 18 this must be completed by a parent or guardian. Once completed the form is valid for 12 months. It is strongly advised you complete the form on our web site before you come to Velocity. Read our Acceptance of Terms here.
How long do Velocity jump sessions last?
Jump sessions each last one hour and start on the hour, every hour (last session starts one hour before closing). You can opt for another hour for a reduced price subject to there being space available.
Do I need to book in advance?
Advance bookings guarantee available space. At weekends and peak times you will need to book to ensure you get a space. The bookings section of our website communicates the live availability for every session. It is highly recommended that you book in advance for every session to avoid disappointment. However, if there is available space on a session you can pay for it onsite. Velocity has an occupancy capacity for every session that we cannot exceed.
Why do I need to wear Velocity jump grip socks?
All jumpers must purchase special Velocity grip socks, no other footwear is permitted.
Velocity grip socks have been designed to increase grip on the trampolines, reducing the risk of injury especially on our wall trampolines. In addition, these Velocity grip socks are designed to reduce the chances of transferable foot infections, increase the comfort of all jumpers (from friction) and reduce the smell of bad feet! These Velocity grip socks form an important part of our risk assessment and we expect all clients to wear Velocity grip socks for their jump sessions. Our Velocity grip socks cost just £2.00 and are yours to keep and re-use. A great souvenir from your visit!
How do I find you?
Velocity Widnes is located close to Fiddlers Ferry power station, not far from the huge cooling towers. We are just off the roundabout where the ‘Eight Towers’ pub, named after the power station towers, is located. You can print directions or put the postcode WA8 0GW into your sat-nav.
What happens if I’m late?
If we are busy then you will be able join only what remains of your time booked. During quieter periods we will endeavour to slot you in as close to your preferred time as possible. In order to ensure you get to enjoy the full duration of your jump session make sure you arrive at LEAST 30 minutes before your scheduled jump time.
What if I need to cancel a booking?
Provided you contact us at least three days (72 hours) before the booking time you can either re-schedule the booking or receive a full refund. Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the time can not be refunded or rescheduled.

Refreshments and food are available to purchase on site. Bottled water can be taken onto the platforms if it is placed in the water crates provided, this can then be consumed during the jump session. Due to food hygiene laws, food other than what is sold in our cafe cannot be consumed on site.
