Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we advise a booking is made before your visit, this is because we can get fully booked to capacity and may have to turn you away if you don’t have a booking with us. Velocity has an occupancy capacity for every session that we cannot exceed. However, if there is available space on a session you can pay for it when you arrive.

How old do you have to be to be?

You must be 4 years or over to jump or bounce at Velocity. Children of 12 years and under must have a parent or guardian on site at all times. Toddlers of walking age and up to 5 years can attend our Velocity Toddler Sessions that run throughout the week during school term time (see activities).

Acceptance of Terms – Does everyone need to complete a form?

Yes, everyone has to have completed their own individual Acceptance of Terms form (sometimes known as a ‘Waiver’). If you’re under the age of 18 this must be completed by a parent or guardian. Once completed the form is valid for 12 months. It is strongly advised you complete the form on our web site before you come to Velocity.  Read our Acceptance of Terms here.

Each session is one hour long and starts on the hour, every hour (last session one hour before closing). You can opt for another hour for a reduced price subject to there being space available.

Do I need to wear socks?

Yes, please wear normal socks for inflatables and soft play.

How do I find you?

Velocity Widnes is located close to Fiddlers Ferry power station, not far from the huge cooling towers. We are just off the roundabout where the ‘Eight Towers’ pub, named after the power station towers, is located. You can find out where are on the map or put the postcode WA8 0GW into your sat-nav.

What happens if I’m late?

If we are busy then you will be able join only what remains of your time booked. During quieter periods we will endeavour to slot you in as close to your preferred time as possible. In order to ensure you get to enjoy the full duration of your jump session make sure you arrive at LEAST 30 minutes before your scheduled jump time.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

Provided you contact us at least three days (72 hours) before the booking time you can either re-schedule the booking or receive a full refund. Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the time cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

I have a Medical Condition, can I bounce at Velocity?

If you have any sort of medical condition that you believe may affect your ability to safely jump / bounce on an inflatable you must consult a qualified medical practitioner before you come to Velocity.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes such as a thin long sleeved top and long pants,  as with all inflatable’s, friction burns can occur on exposed skin when performing certain activities, especially slides. No sharp objects such as belt buckles or clothing studs are allowed on Inflatable and no jewellery is permitted.

Do you have lockers?

We do! £1 coin drop lockers are available on site. These lockers also return the deposit at the end of their use.

Can I wear glasses?

Whilst we encourage people not to wear glasses if possible, we do allow glasses to be worn on the main jumping areas. For the foam pit and dodge ball courts, safety goggles will be provided. If you already own sports goggles it is suggested that you bring them with you.

Is food available?

Refreshments and food are available to purchase on site. Bottled water can be taken onto the platforms if it is placed in the water crates provided, this can then be consumed during the jump session. Hospitality staff are happy to provide cups of tap water to customers on request but these must be consumed in the cafe area. Due to food hygiene laws, food other than what is sold in our cafe cannot be consumed on site.

How long before bounce time starts do I need to arrive?

All bouncers must arrive 30 minutes before the start of their jump time, to allow enough time to check in and watch our safety briefing. Latecomers will not be allowed if they miss the safety briefing. We do not offer refunds for late arrivals and cannot guarantee availability of a later bounce session so please arrive on time to avoid disappointment.
